Yachats was also voted to be one of the 10 coolest small towns by Budget Travel. The Oregon Coast is simply an amazing place and is located just a few miles north of Cape Perpetua. Yachats is one of the few ocean beach areas where smelt come ashore to spawn. There are many restaurants for, ranging from take away to gourmet dining.
